Woman wearing the Craghoppers Women's Kiwi Pro III Trousers, an Active fit

Every Craghoppers trouser and shirt is cut to one of four fits: Slim, Active, Regular or Relaxed. The fit is shown on each product page. Here's what each one means, which styles come in it, and how to choose.

The four fits at a glance

Fit How it feels Best for
Slim Streamlined and close to the body, with stretch Active travel, city and trail
Active Body-contouring stretch that moves with you Hiking, scrambling and high-energy days
Regular Classic and balanced, neither tight nor loose Everyday hiking, travel and casual wear
Relaxed Looser, with room to move Long days on the trail and laid-back trips

Slim fit

A modern, streamlined cut that sits close to the body without being tight. Slim styles use stretch fabric, so they keep a tailored look and still move with you. Craghoppers designs them for active travel and urban exploring.

Slim styles in Australia:

Active fit

Built for movement. Active styles have a dynamic, body-contouring cut in stretch fabric that flexes with every step, climb and scramble. Craghoppers describes it as a regular fit with active stretch. It's the fit of the Kiwi Pro range.

Active styles in Australia:

Regular fit

The versatile classic. A balanced cut that's neither too tight nor too loose, with a straight leg on trousers. It suits hiking, travel and everyday wear, and it's the fit of the NosiLife Cargo and Adventure ranges.

Regular styles in Australia:

Relaxed fit

A looser cut for comfort on long treks and easy-going trips. On trousers, Craghoppers describes it as regular on the waist and loose from the thigh to the ankle.

Relaxed styles in Australia:

How to choose your fit

  • Moving a lot? Active or Slim. Both have stretch, so you can step up, crouch and climb without the fabric pulling.
  • Want a sharper look for travel and town? Slim.
  • Not sure? Regular is the middle ground and the most common fit in the range.
  • Want more room, or layering underneath? Relaxed.

Finding your size

Fit is the shape of the cut; size is the measurement. Each product page has a size guide matched to the garment, with how-to-measure tips.

  • Trousers are sized by waist in inches, so measure around your natural waistline, just above the hip bone.
  • Tops are sized by chest: measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
  • Short legs: some trousers also come in a separate short leg version, such as the Men's NosiLife Convertible Cargo Trouser III (Short Leg).

Do Craghoppers trousers come up small?
